Ontario Mortgage Calculator ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at ontariomortgagecalculator.ca. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

• Pre-Qualification Wizard — income, employment type, debts, assets, credit score tier, down payment, and property goal. This information is used solely to calculate your mortgage estimate in real time and is not stored on our servers unless you submit it to request a realtor introduction.
• Rate Alert Subscription — your email address, used exclusively to send you Ontario mortgage rate change notifications.
• Realtor Introduction Request — your name, email address, phone number, and the pre-qualification summary you choose to share. This information is forwarded to a licensed Ontario real estate professional and retained in our CRM.

We do not run a credit check. We do not collect your Social Insurance Number, date of birth, or any government-issued identifier through the public calculator.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your personalized mortgage estimate within the wizard
• To send rate change alerts if you have subscribed
• To connect you with a licensed Ontario mortgage or real estate professional if you request an introduction
• To improve the accuracy and functionality of the calculator
• To communicate with you about your inquiry (if submitted)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies and Analytics

We use minimal first-party analytics to understand how visitors use the calculator (e.g., which steps are completed, which features are used). This data is aggregated and not linked to personally identifiable information. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
